Who's Who????

These boys look almost identical as newborns! In fact, if I don't keep my pictures labeled and in good order, I'll likely confuse them over the years. So, how did you do...

1. Drew 7. Drew
2. Mac 8. Drew
3. Drew 9. Mac
4. Mac 10. Mac
5. Drew 11. Drew
6. Mac

A Whole Lotta Sleeping Going On

A Visit from Mim, Pop and Aunt Olivia

Lions and tigers and bears, oh my!

New family of 4!

Last week Sam's parents and sister, Olivia, came for a visit. We were so thrilled that Olivia was able to come. She and her husband live in Greenville, SC, and we don't get to see them as much as we'd like to. They happened to come on one of the hottest weeks in the Ozarks in years...what luck!!! They took Mac to ride The Ducks (big boat/car things that drive on the road and go in the water like a boat). They had fun but were dying in the brutal heat :) We enjoyed times at the Landing, Bass Pro, eating, and hanging out. They took Mac swimming a couple times at the neighborhood pool. Mac loves to swim and is always happy to accompany anyone to the pool! We look forward to them coming back!

Thanks for Coming, CeCe and Aunt Lia!!!

I am so grateful that my mom and sister were able to come stay for a couple weeks after I had Drew! It was so, so, so helpful to have them around to help with Drew and especially Mac. They also helped keep my house (and mind) in order. It was so great to have them around for company and support. I so love being around and hanging out with them...I wish they could stay forever :) I am grateful to them for cramming into our house with us and equally grateful to Sam for being ok with them cramming into our small quarters! haha

Drew's First Real Outing

Well, after more than a week, the walls started to close in on me at home, so we decided to venture out. I didn't want to overdo it and didn't want Drew around very many people, so we decided to go to a late lunch at the Keeter Center at College of the Ozarks. It was refreshing to just be out in the open air! The grounds around the Keeter Center are beautiful. We endured the brutal heat to snap a few pics to document the big outing. (This is actually the second time Drew was out of the house. The first was to his 2 day doctor's appointment with me and Sam...but this was the first "real" outing)

Thanks for coming, Parker!

Parker and Mac "built a dog" for Drew at Build-A-Bear
Playing cars in the hospital on Drew's bassinet
YAY!!! Parker, Aunt Jess, and Aunt Lia's arrival at the hospital
Playing at the YMCA open gym.

Thanks for playing, Aunt Lia!
Pop gun from Dixie Stampede...
Parker was trying to lasso everything and everyone after that show!
Enjoying a sno cone at the pre-show
Only in Branson could Parker take a picture with the "real deal" General Lee (yes, the child is obsessed with Dukes of Hazard)
A common sight during the week, eating and watching Veggie Tales
Thanks for coming to play with Mac, Parker!!!! You helped make his adjustment to a new brother a little easier...and lots of fun!

Sweet Brothers

Mac and Drew
Meeting Drew at the hospital

Sam with the boys
Mac showing Drew his fire truck bed
Mac has adjusted well to having Drew around. He is very sweet to Drew...rubs his head, gives him kisses, and pats him on the back. If Drew starts crying, Mac tells him, "Its ok, baby." In fact, a few times that Drew was crying in the car, Mac started crying too. Not sure if he was sad for Drew or scared of him! haha I'm so looking forward to watching them interact with each other as Drew becomes more alert and can play. I love these sweet little boys!!!

Welcome, Andrew Everett Taylor!!!!

We are so thrilled to announce the arrival of our second baby boy, Andrew Everett Taylor (Drew)!!!! He surprised us by making an early arrival on Friday, July 1st. He missed Sam's birthday by one day. Even though he came at 38 weeks, he weighed a healthy 8 lbs and 6 oz and is 20 1/4" long. We feel incredibly blessed that he is absolutely perfect in every way! He looks a lot like Mac did at this point but has lots more hair :) We are enjoying our little vacation in the hospital together and will be able to go home and join Mac tomorrow.

Mac, of course, is still a bit unsure of this whole baby thing. He gave him a kiss yesterday but then didn't want anything to do with him. He did, however, want lots to do with his Daddy :) I'm interested to see how he will respond to Drew when he comes for a visit today. It will take him a while to get used to it all, I'm sure. But for now Mac is having his own vacation at home with CeCe. Sam and I can't wait to get home and be a family of four. It honestly still seems so surreal, but we are so, so excited!!! I'll be posting more details and pics later. I just wanted to make a quick post from the hospital and let our little blog world see our sweet new addition.
