First Piggies!

Sweet thing sat still just long enough for me to do her first pigtails.

In the car, the first thing Clara does is rip off her shoes and bow or rubberbands and chunk them down onto the floor.

Say It Ain't So

The other day a friend took Mac and a couple other friends from church on a tour of New Hope's Kindergarten. Mac was so excited and very curious. I was pretty sad at the realization that my days with him at home all day with me are drawing to a close. He's getting so big...
I was so proud of him on the tour. He very confidently talked to all of the adults and teachers that we met and was very friendly. I know he's ready. But I'm not...

He and his buddy Ross.
This was the ninja picture 😉

Little of This and That

First tastes of honeysuckles out on our bike ride/walk the other day. The boys decided that the kids who live at the house with the honeysuckles are very lucky: "If they get hungry and their mom says they can't have a snack, they can just walk outside to play and eat as much as they want!"
First dentist trip for Drew. He watched as Mac went first, and both boys were excellent. I was very proud of Drew for being so big. No cavities! Yay!! And the dentist gave each of them one dollar! They were so excited. They also loved getting new toothbrushes and a toy out of the treasure box. Very successful visit to Dr. Smith.
Drew is beginning to interact with Clara more and more and take the initiative to help, teach or play with her.

Well, you know, just a little acrobatics teaching. Epcot is in our future ;-)

I discovered that, in a redneck way, I can fit all three kids in our sit n stand stroller. I was going to sell it but decided to hang on to it for a bit longer!

When you get Clara out of bed you know for a fact: 1. Her hair will be in her face 2. She will be holding as many loochies as she can in her hands with one in her mouth 3. She will choose a stuffed doll or animal to come out of the crib with her. Every. Time. And I love it!

There's just nothing sweeter than a sleeping baby. This one happens to be tired from running errands all day with me while the boys are at their last day of "school"

The girl loves baths. Like, really loves them. And just lays right on back to play and relax.

I have rearranged and changed the function of rooms in our house so many times. Sam kindly moves furniture when asked and helps me get things resituated. We just converted the dining room back into the play room. The kids are loving it so far.

"It's Baseball For Me!"

A few weeks ago Mac had his very first Tball game. He and Sam have been spending a lot of time practicing in the backyard, so we knew he had the potential to hit without the tee...we just weren't sure how it'd go at the game. I knew if he never got a hit during the game, he'd be very disappointed in himself. And boy were we SOOO excited when he hit it every time with the coach pitching!! :-) He was very proud, and so were we. Drew, Clara, Sam, CeCe and myself cheered and cheered! He later declared "that wasn't Tball for me. It was baseball cause I didn't need the tee!" Well, so you have it...his first "baseball" game. Looking forward to a great season and possibly many more years to come!
Proud #9 right here.
Drew was so sweet and loudly cheered for Mac each time he was up at bat. Clara also joined in on the yelling action. Drew may not be old enough to play, but he sure wore his shirt and cleats proudly to watch.
Look at that form! :-)
His biggest fans
Mac just loves it that Sam helps coach his team. Makes him feel very special.
Look at that face!! I love it

Determination right here.

These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things

Sunday lunch with my favs:
"Samuel McAllister Taylors" aka McAlister's Deli
Sweet tea
And my favorite guys 😊

*Clara was indeed there with us...she just wasn't in the mood for a pic. 😏

Dolls, Dolls, Dolls

I'm just beyond thrilled that Clara has a true love for baby dolls! I have a whole attic filled with my childhood dolls, some of my most treasured possessions, that I now have someone to pass them on to! Anything "baby" and she's in love ❤️ Her doll collection keeps growing, especially when CeCe is around while shopping! 😉

Take Me Out To The Ballgame

Mac had his very first Tball practice the other day, and he was soooo excited! CeCe and PePaw gave him all the needed Tball gear at Christmas, and he has been practicing when it's warm enough outside to get ready. And the day finally came! We are so grateful to have a great coach that goes to church with us and one of his best buddies on the team with him. First practice was a success!

*We got lucky and have a parent of one of the players who is apparently a photographer. Yay!

She's On The Move!!!

Last week, while Sam was on a spring break mission trip to Guatemala, Clara finally turned her occasional steps into full blown walking!! We were at Momo's house, and when it clicked, it clicked 😊 She's doing very well getting around...but if she wants to get somewhere quickly, it's back to the crawl! The boys are so proud of her new skill and tell most people we see, including strangers, that we have a walker. Look out world, here she comes!!

A little post-walk selfie session...she just wanted to get back to walking!

Into Everything...

This little girl is all over these days and into anything she's able to get her hands on!

Swingin' Time

Despite the absolutely crazy weather as of late with snow, ice and freezing temps, there were actually a few days nice enough to enjoy outside play time. Makes us ready for spring!

Life Lately

First ponytail! Her hair is getting so long!
Singing with Daddy as he practices some tunes for his Spring Break mission trip to Guatemala
They have SO much fun together! And Clara thinks everything her brothers do is hilarious. When she gets close to them, she starts jumping around, squealing and smiling so huge. ❤️
Mardi Gras Mambo
Birthday fun for Jess
The boys LOVE working with Sam on the flip house across the street. I adore the quality time that it allows "the boys."
My girl...
