Camp CeCe

Let me just start by saying how lucky I think our kids are to have my mom and dad as grandparents. I could not ever imagine better parents. And great parents=great grandparents, as in super! Mom, better known as CeCe, decided several years ago that she wanted to have "cousin camp" during the summers while our kids are growing up. She felt like this year was the perfect year to start, and the kids were now old enough to stay away and all together (and that she and PePaw could handle them all!)
So the first annual Camp CeCe took place in July 2014. The kids were beyond excited to go. None had any idea what to expect, but they knew it sounded like fun! And Camp CeCe did not disappoint!

CeCe had the entire camp scheduled out with the absolute cutest activities, snacks, games, and movies to keep them occupied every second of the day. It was like all the fun things on Pinterest Jess and I could ever dream about doing all wrapped up in this week (cause we all know Pinterest is more dreaming than doing. LOL) These pics are from Bug Day, and they are showing off the bugs they found and captured, with lots of help from PePaw

Making and playing with slime

The Campers

Making bird houses. Yes, ours are still hanging in the backyard.

Each morning began with the Pledge of Allegiance.  This was for real camp, y'all.

Fun merry go round PePaw managed to find just in time for camp

Tug-o-war with a little help. Momo was even able to make it to Camp CeCe...she was a big help helping the kids with their activities.  But I'm pretty sure she was exhausted when the week was over. I think everyone involved was worn out at the end!

Paint time

CeCe telling bedtime stories. The kids slept all over the living room in tents and sleeping bags.  I mean, really, how fun is this?!?!

Outside play time

**More fun to follow in the next post...
